I'm a researcher and strategist exploring how AI is reshaping questions of meaning, identity, and our shared understanding of reality.
Currently, my focus is on “Machine Cosmologies” — a research and worldbuilding project exploring the ontological and cosmological questions that arise as human and artificial minds come to share a world.
I cofounded the Meaning Alignment Institute, an AI research lab working to create new technologies and institutions aligned with meaning, an approach we call full stack alignment.
Previously, I researched meaning as the sacred and its role in societal coordination , theories of societal evolution, and played with internet memes as cultural vehicles.
